The Juilliard School
Misty is a Music Specialist for the Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing and supporting the successful implementation of The Juilliard Approach to classroom music instruction.
Concert Hosting and Scripting
Misty has designed and hosted education concerts for Carnegie Hall, the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the 92nd Street Y, and Young Audiences of New York and Connecticut. One leading figure in our field described a young people’s concert that Misty helped to create as “the single best concert for young people I have ever seen, since Leonard Bernstein.”
Curriculum Creation and Professional Development
Misty has created curriculum materials for the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, Carnegie Hall, The Juilliard School and the 92nd Street Y among others. She has expertise in designing materials for Pre-K to 12th grade audiences. She works with orchestras and schools to lead professional development workshops for teachers and musicians.
